Cathy Nolan is an experienced physiotherapist who provides locum physiotherapy services along the NSW South Coast. Cathy is experienced at diagnosing and treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions across all age groups. This includes lower back pain, shoulder and neck pain; acute sporting injuries; osteoarthritis and working with you pre and post operatively to keep you moving well. Cathy is also experienced with treating people with neurological conditions such as Parkinson's or Multiple Sclerosis.
Cathy is also an experienced Women's Health Physiotherapist assessing and treating a variety of pelvic floor conditions such as urinary incontinence, urge incontinence and poor bladder control. Cathy is also experienced at treating pregnancy related lower back and pelvic girdle pain, abdominal separation, DeQuervain's tenosynovitis and returning post-partum women safely to exercise.
Her approach is hands on, utilising a range of soft tissues techniques combined with joint mobilisation and exercise therapy to help you recover quicker. Cathy is also qualified in and uses other modalities such as dry needling, Real Time Ultra Sound and Therapeutic Ultra Sound which she uses as an adjunct to her treatments.
In her spare time, Cathy is an enthusiastic kayaker, golfer, ocean swimmer, hiker and photographer.
Cathy is an active member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association's Musculoskeletal and Incontinence and Women's Health groups ensuring she keeps up to date on the latest evidence based treatments to keep you moving well.
Cathy is also a NSW WorkCover accredited physiotherapist, qualified pilates, fitness and yoga therapy instructor.
