We are passionate about your health and understand the specific needs and targeted treatment of pelvic floor conditions. Our Women’s Health Physiotherapist, Cathy Nolan is highly qualified and trained in assessing, diagnosing and treating a range of pelvic floor conditions.
What is involved in assessing and treating pelvic conditions?
A full case history will be undertaken to understand better how your pelvic floor currently functions. Following this, it is common for an internal vaginal examination to be undertaken to further assess any weakness, spasm or change to any of the pelvic floor muscles and develop a targeted treatment plan for you.
Do I need a referral?
No you don’t need a referral to book an appointment. However, if you have been referred by your GP, Gynaecologist or another physiotherapist, then rest assured we will work closely with your referrer to achieve the best outcome for you.
